La Grouw Professional Support has four different services:
Recruitment and selection
During an introductory meeting, preferably held at the employer's office, it will be determined whether La Grouw Professional Support will obtain the assignment. During this meeting an analysis and evaluation of the job description is made. The recruitment procedure will only be initiated after a personal introduction to the manager/director to whom the new employee will report. This introduction is essential since the personality of the ideal candidate plays an important role in the final selection. Upon request of the employer, La Grouw Professional Support can arrange for psychological or personality tests taken by a third party. In the majority of assignments recruitment takes place by means of file search, and/or by concretely formulated advertisements in the appropriate media and on internet.
Re-assessment and interim management
Due to reorganization or a rapid growth, situations may occur that are unsatisfactory for both the management and the support staff. In these cases La Grouw Professional Support will screen the internal organization, the management and the secretariats. Consequently some re-assessments may have to take place to improve the quality of the work generated. After the final and agreed new plans, they will coach the employees to adapt to the new situation. For these specific consultancy activities the fee will be based upon a daily tariff.
Afterservice and coaching
Once a candidate has been hired, we maintain contact with both our client and the candidate for a period of six months. A new job and a new work environment requires a lot of adaptation of the candidate. In order to speed up this process, we offer our candidates coaching sessions, which she can make use of with the authorization of the employer.This involves three coaching sessions that take place on the work floor. Individual coaching improves the motivation, productivity en diminishes insecurity, as the candidate feels appreciated and will be more involved with the organization.
For this we work closely together with Vivienne Feitsma of "Your Coach" (member of Dutch foundation of Professional Coaches). It goes without saying that these sessions will not be charged, and come for our account.
Secondment
Under certain circumstances, employers may have a need for temporary professional management support, in which case secondment offers a good and a reliable solution. It means that the candidate is on La Grouw Professional Support’s payroll and that the employer is charged the actual number of hours worked. The hourly charge is based on the candidate’s gross monthly salary.The selection procedure for temporary posts is similar to a normal recruitment and selection procedure.
Once the initial terms have been agreed, La Grouw Professional Support will prepare a secondment contract setting out all details of the agreement (duties, duration, number of hours/days, charges etc.). We remain in close contact with both parties during the period of secondment.
